Nous passons par chez Martin.

"Nous passons par chez Martin." In the quiz this meant "We're popping by Martin's place". Could it also mean "We're passing by Martin's place". How do you know if they pass by or pop in? Thanks

Hi Deborah,

To say -

I popped in /dropped by Martin's place, I would use -

Je suis passé/e chez Martin

Whereas,

Je suis passé/e par chez Martin = I passed by Martin's place
