placement of adjective long

Elle a un visage long et sérieux.

Why is long following the noun in this sentence?

As per BANGS rule, the adjective "long" usually precedes the noun. I came across this sentence in a book Entre Jeune, used for teaching french to 9th standard in schools in India.

Bonjour Richa,

When a noun is qualified by two or more adjectives, they are placed after the noun they qualify IF they are linked together by a link word (mais, donc, car, or, et, ou, ni...ni…)

Elle a une visage beau mais sévère she has a beautiful but strict face

Il a les cheveux blonds et bouclés he has blond and curly hair

 I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée!
