Hi Hasan,

Let's analyse the sentence -

pâtes is pasta in French.

ne...que = only

pas = negative ( no need to repeat the 'ne')

Je ne mange pas que des pâtes le samedi = I don't only eat pasta on Saturdays

i.e.

I eat other things as well...
