When one of the subjects is an inanimate object

I'm trying to work out what to do when the two subjects are a person and something inanimate. Basically I want to say "I miss you and Paris" - and can only come up with "Toi et Paris me manquent" which doesn't seem right, or "Toi et Paris me manquez" -which definitely seems wrong! Maybe this is something you just can't say in French?

Hi Jim,

It would be -

Toi et Paris (vous) me manquez

It doesn't matter that Paris is inanimate

Toi et ta mère (vous) me manquez énormément

You could also say -

Tu me manques et Paris aussi ( me manque)

Bonne Continuation!

It's not unusual to refer to Paris as "tu" in songs, etc. so perhaps "Toi et Paris me manquez" would not be out of the question?

Hi Jim,

How about  "Ce que me manque, c'est tu et Paris." ?

Jim
