Bonjour Wendy,

Thank you for your feedback! Both British English and American English are used because Kwiziq users are from different English speaking countries as mentioned in the previous answers. ;-)

I hope this is helpful.

Hi Wendy,

As I understand it, British English is used in the lessons and quizzes on this site.

The lesson mentions "pan" for American English information only.

Let's however see if a moderator agrees with my understanding.

Tin was offered for British English, pan for US English which is also used for Aussie English, Kiwi English,Canadian English, Scottish English.

Because some of us are in North America. I'm in Canada, and we use a mixture of British and US usages. (Also, it looks to me like the company is headquartered in Pennsylvania.)
