This profile is preserved in memory of our colleague, Cécile, as a tribute to the lasting impact she made on our community.

Cécile was born and lived in Versailles until she settled into married life in the UK. After raising two children and studying at Warwick University, she founded a Business French training company. It grew to deliver more than 20 languages and twice won the UK National Languages for Export Regional Language Trainer Award.

Cécile was the veteran of the team, coming out of semi-retirement to help with the increasing volume of questions on the KwizIQ French Q&A forum. Over the years, she answered more than 5000 language questions.

Many learners will remember her thoughtful, encouraging answers and the care she took with every question. Her patience, expertise and encouragement have left a lasting legacy and her contribution to KwizIQ will not be forgotten.
