After months of planning, brainstorming, designing and implementation, we’re excited to tell the world about our new branding!

Hi, Kwizbot here! I’m so excited to tell you all about our NEW LOOK!
As you can see we now have a new logo and site design and I, myself, got a fancy upgrade and a set of new moves!
Most importantly, we’ve changed our tagline to reflect who we’re here for and how we can help. We’ll explain more about this decision below; suffice it to say, for now, we’re making things 100% about our amazing learners.
Without further ado, I’m delighted to share:
Why did we decide to update our brand?
Kwiziq has been providing clever technology for language learners for nearly a decade. Started by two language nerds, then expanded by our wonderfully creative (and also a bit nerdy) language team, we realised that until now our brand had focussed a little too much on technical cleverness, and not on the people we’re here to help. It hasn’t always been apparent what we offer our users or why we’re exactly what you’re looking for. This evolution is therefore aimed entirely at you and the thousands like you who want to reach fluency in a second language (whatever that means to you personally).
So what has changed specifically?
This evolution includes a redesign across our website (which you have probably noticed if you’re reading this), a change in our logo and tagline, a new illustration style and a makeover for Kwizbot!
The new design brings a fresh, modern look to Kwiziq which will let us expand our reach and audience; and our new tagline puts our top priority front and centre!
For now, this change is mainly cosmetic: all of the tools and goodies you have come to know and love will remain largely the same. But watch this space: based on lots of research and user feedback, we have several major upgrades coming soon that will improve your learning experience and the ways you can access Kwiziq.
And don’t worry, I’ll still be here, giving you personal recommendations and guidance, helping you, in the most effective way possible, to find your fluent!

New Tagline: “Find your Fluent”
For most serious learners, “fluency” is (usually) the end goal when learning a new language. “Fluency,” however, means different things to different people. For some, it’s reaching C1 on the CEFR scale; for others, it’s being able to live and enjoy life in a foreign country; for still others, it’s the ability to listen to and share grandma’s stories from back in her childhood; and for yet others, it’s being able to navigate a holiday without reverting to the dreaded ”Franglish” or “Spanglish”!
With all this in mind, we want users to think about fluency in more personal terms: we want you to own your personal idea of “fluent,” recognise that you’re not alone in doing this and then give you the tools to achieve it.
From day one Kwiziq has avoided a one-size-fits-all approach, and now we’re taking that one step further, targeting precisely the definition of fluent that is just for you.
So what does it mean to find your fluent?
Put simply, it means achieving the level of confidence you want in the language, based on your motivations for learning it. Whether your goal is to finish top of your class in classical French literature; feel confident in your new Spanish-speaking workplace; be able to hold a real conversation with that cute French-speaking bartender, or even just order that delicious local delicacy on holidays without the classic “point and grunt” technique, your learning needs and definition of fluency are uniquely yours!
Kwiziq is here to help you achieve that goal, step-by-step, with the targeted practice that helps you focus only on what you need, ensuring consistent progress as efficiently as possible.
Start exactly at your true level. Kwizbot will evaluate your level (or you can just tell him where to start) and from there he will make a personalised Study Plan for you to follow. Your Study Plan is filled with in-depth, expert-created lessons complemented with engaging exercises and challenging kwizzes all carefully written by our expert language teachers.
Say goodbye to endless, mindless repetitions – your kwizzes have the right balance between repetition to reinforce what you know and challenge to master new topics. Most importantly, each one is different, pulled from thousands of expertly written questions to challenge your knowledge from different angles.
After all that, if you’re still struggling with a lesson or topic (don’t worry, it’s normal!), you can post your question on our moderated Q&A forum, where thousands of kwizzers and our expert language teachers will help you ace it.
Reinforcing our purpose
Alongside the specific focus on our end users, this change also helps reinforce our broader brand purpose.
New things are coming up!
We can’t reveal these now, but the Kwiziq team has been hard at work this year and this is just the first of many great improvements and new things to come in 2022.

2. Why did you update the branding of Kwiziq?
For some of our lovely users, it hasn’t always been apparent what we offer nor why we’re exactly what they’re looking for to take their language learning to the next level. This evolution is aimed entirely at you and the thousands like you who want to reach fluency in a second language (whatever that means to you personally).
This means we’re moving our focus from our clever technology and how it works to the benefits it brings and how it can help you and others reach fluency in a second language, therefore promoting meaningful, deep communication, instead of translation.
We want to reinforce our broader brand purpose: To help people communicate fluently in a second language, so they can have rich relationships with people from different backgrounds and, as a result, positively expand their worldview and that of others.
3. What does this change mean for me as a user and do I need to do something?
This change is only the first step to our purpose of bringing you a better language learning experience. So stay tuned for more updates in the near future!
Also, there aren’t any actions required from you. You can continue using Kwiziq just like you’ve always used it!
4. Does Kwiziq still have the same language teachers?
Yes! Our wonderful and qualified language teachers are still here to help you answer any questions you post on our French Q&A forum and Spanish Q&A forum and to use their awesome creativity to create all of our amazing lessons, readers, dictations, weekend workouts, and much more!
